On 12-13 April In Voivodeship Specialist Hospital in Słupsk was organized workshop in Lymphoedema and flap microsurgery. One of the sponsors was our company Senocore. This year oncologic, plastic and reconstructive surgeons met to help two patients with prostate and oral cavity cancer. The workshop leader was dr Takumi Yamamoto (Tokyo) and dr Daniel Maliszewski (Słupsk). It was first time that dr Yamamoto technique – RRR – radical reduction and reconstruction was performed outside Japan in patients with prostate cancer. Lymphatic tracts were visualized with PDE II by Hamamatsu. The operation was difficult and it tooks 12 hours. Next case was after oral cancer management – there was lymphovenous anastomosis and biological implant BIOBRIDGE implantation.
